Our Racing Analyst Barry Hughes has been in the Racing Industry for

The performance of his Formula One is well documented. It will increase
Win Strike Rates on any method you apply it to. Barry's system The Key,
holds the record in Punter's Choice of 13 years, every year a winner,
maintaining a 45% Win Strike Rate. Pick up any Punter's Choice Annual from
the past 20 years, Grandstand's systems are the leaders more often than
not.
This hasn't happened by chance. Before we release any system, our Racing Analyst will
request Rules and Results for a minimum of 12 months. Then monitor the System's future
results for another 12 months, and will only give the green light to publish if the
results hold up, and to be honest, more times than not we still get it wrong. Racing is a
hard game to win at.
We at Grandstand have yet to see
any system that averages more than 3 bets, withstand the test of time.
The long term proven performers are
low action high strikers, where the rules are set up to only select horses
when the percentages are in your favour.
Never be put off supporting Low
Action High Strike Rate systems. The name of the game is Profit on
Turnover. These methods will normally reduce the dreaded runs of outs
which unfortunately are a part of racing.
Another good example. Barry's system Top
Rated -5 Lengths (all copies sold out), but since January 2000 - Strike
Rate 58.8% - Profit 31.6% based on the NSW Tote. With a Strike Rate close
enough to 60%, most of the selections started favourite. Stats show Best
Fluctuations are 35 to 40% in front of the Tote on favourites - add that
to the 31.6% Profit. It doesn't stop there. Set up The Retirement or
Factor 10, both will increase the Profits on any method you apply them to.
Stats also show the Tote is in front on the longer priced horses.
