HIDDEN GENDER UPDATE

With the following results we have set up Factor 10 Wages Plan applied to The Hidden Gender selections from the 01-01-07. Bank $3,350.00 X 1.5%, Base Bet $50.00, all bets to be placed at the one time. We set the Divisor at 10, Target 500, all losses are added to the Target. Each time the Bank peaks bet 1.5% of the new high. .g. We set up on the 01-01-07 - Divisor 10 - Target 500 - first Bet $50.00. Both selections lost add $100.00 to Target.  06-01-07 10 into 600 = $60.00. 2 Bets 1 Winner $9.90, Bank $3,699.00 X 1.5%, new Base Bet 10 into 550 = $55.00. Our objective is to freeze the Base Bet at $150.00 = to Bank $10,000.00 X 1.5% = $150.00, then transfer all Profits to Wages. To safeguard the Bank and ensure we can withstand over 30 without a winner, we stop increasing and commence Level Stakes betting when the Base Bet doubles, give or take 10%, (this will normally happen after 8 without a winner) This only happened once: from the 27-10-07 to the 05-12-07 - 8 without a winner, Base Bet increased from $150.00 to $305.00, you then Level Stake at $305.00.( at this stage even after 8 outs the Bank could withstand another 27 without a winner) The next selection won paying $12.50. We transferred $1,933.00 to Wages. ALWAYS start with a Bank you can afford lose. Set yourself a maximum Base Bet and remember after 8 without a winner that the Base Bet will double. With a Base Bet of $150.00 - from the 18-04-07 $63,364.00 have been transferred to Wages.

Updated Hidden Gender Results using Factor 10 Wages Plan

The response to The Hidden Gender has been good.

All agree Julie has done the homework on this new approach. Not surprising the bets have been limited over the past 4 weeks as many horses are resuming for the Spring Carnival: Only 7 BETS - 4 WINNERS - PROFIT NSW Tote 173% - 6 were PLACED - PROFIT 108%.

It was also good to see that less than 30% are ringing the Saturday morning back up Phone Service. A good indication that the handful of rules are easy enough to work out. In saying that, last Saturday we had one happy Chappie that was grateful for the back up service. This gentleman lives in the back of beyond where papers for Saturday arrive Sunday. “Thanks for the affordable Phone Service, I backed Swooper on Saturday at Best Fluctuations $7.50”. Spring is in the air.

When looking at the 2007 RESULTS from JULY to DECEMBER - 34 SELECTIONS producing a LEVEL STAKES PROFIT of 336%. The Equine Influenza Virus halved the action with zero selections in Sydney from August to March 2008, so we look forward to the months ahead

WIN STRIKE RATE 37% - PROFIT 316%

One of our clients has suggested we set up a separate bank for The Hidden Gender selections that are racing in a field with zero last start winners or only one last start winner - 63 RACES qualified but you picked up a PROFIT in $1 units of $199.00 = to 316%.

Another suggested the best value was The Hidden Gender selection that had yet to win a race. E.g. Zero Win %. Bets were few but the PROFIT in $1 units $106.30.

Another stated “This system will win anywhere” he backed Shinko’s Echo race 4 in Lismore yesterday $6.30 & $1.60. Good for you, but beware! There is a difference in the Classes between Metropolitan, Provincial & Country tracks like Lismore.

It’s good to see the powers that be in NSW are addressing the Class difference associated with RBH (Ratings Based Handicapping). Victoria got it right way back in 2004 by introducing “Templates” which use a flexible, sliding scale.
